Our First Thanksgiving/ Nuestro Primer Dia de Accion de Gracias

Here are a few shots of the babies' first Thanksgiving. We celebrated in Wichita Falls and had a great time spending time with Grammy, Grandper, Aunt Allison, Uncle Seth, Cousin Olivia, Aunt Ashley, and Uncle Brian. It was a really special time for all of us and definitely one of the best Thanksgivings ever. It was wonderful to be able to celebrate my first Thanksgiving as a mother with all of my closest family members... We miss and love you all!

Aqui estan unas fotos del primer Dia de Accion de Gracias de los mellis. Celebramos el dia en Wichita Falls y la pasamos muy bien con toda la familia. Fue un momento muy especial para todos nosotros y en definitivo uno de los mejores Dia de Accion de Gracias hasta ahora. Fue maravilloso pasar mi primer Dia de Accion de Gracias como mama con toda mi familia... Los extranamos a todos y los queremos mucho!!

Six Months/ Seis Meses!!

Our babies turned six months old on Thanksgiving Day! We were in Wichita Falls visiting family, (I'll post pictures from our visit as soon as I can), so we took the six month pictures at Aunt Allison and Uncle Seth's house. As you can see, Mila and Lucca are both starting to grab things like crazy, and the "6 months" sign was no exception! The babies are doing new things all the time. They both can roll from tummy to back and vice versa, they babble a lot, they are eating oatmeal twice a day, and they're trying out all sorts of vegetables-- all of which they LOVE so far! They also are starting to laugh out loud more and bounce in their jumparoo instead of just hanging there. :)
It's hard to believe that it's been six months since our little angels were born. They are truly a joy to be with and such a light in our lives! People often ask Claudio and I how we manage to survive with two little ones to look after. While our lives are definitely hectic and some days are incredibly trying, we wouldn't have it any other way.

Nuestros bebes cumplieron seis meses en el Dia de Accion de Gracias! Estuvimos en Wichita Falls visitando unos familiares, (pongo las fotos de la visita en cuanto tenga tiempo), asi que sacamos las fotos de los seis meses en la casa de la tia Allison y el tio Seth. Como pueden ver, Mila y Lucca estan agarrando todo... hasta el papel de "6 meses!" Los bebes estan haciendo nuevas cosas todo el tiempo. Los dos pueden darse vuelta de la pancita a la espalda y vice versa, balbucean mucho, comen avena dos veces por dia, y estan probando pure de diferentes vegetales. Por ahora les gustan todos! :) Tambien estan empezando a reirse mas y saltar en su "jumperoo," (es una sillita en la cual se pueden sentar y saltar), en vez de solo quedarse alli sin hacer nada.
Es dificil creer que han pasado seis meses desde que nacieron nuestros angelitos. De verdad es una alegria estar con ellos y son la luz de nuestra vida! Mucha gente nos pregunta a Claudio y a mi como hacemos para criar a dos bebes a la vez. Es verdad que nuestra vida es bastante caotica y algunos dias son increiblemente dificiles, pero igualmente no lo cambiariamos por nada.
